A Cautionary Tale

MAAN was conceived on a booze-fuelled rampage, one warm November evening in 2014. On waking three days later, the two realised the paperwork had been signed in triplicate and they were in deep, with no way of turning back. So when the hangovers had dissipated, they decided to make a go of it.

Anthony, a winemaker by trade, and Matt, an interstate man of mystery, are both cousins and founders of MAAN. The two have a long history of making, selling and drinking quality wines from around the world.

Their focus was on producing small batch, handmade wines that showcase the best that McLaren Vale has to offer — approachable, affordable, accessible and, most of all, exceptionally handsome. Much like the founders.
